The intramural work mainly consists of laying a membrane behind the bricks or stones in order to ensure waterproofing.
This type of work usually includes the removal of the masonry at the bottom of a wall, the installation of a membrane and the reinstallation of the masonry. Often, this type of work is done adjacent to an entrance and the bricks are replaced by architectural concrete blocks, a material much more durable to bad weather, salt and freeze / thaw.
